Nov. 1962	Off East William Street Road, E of Decatur	Steven Collins, Robert Earle & 2 other men	Gray Bigfoot seen standing in creek.
July 1964	State Highway 89	Man	Shortly after midnight, saw a Bigfoot run across road, jumping fences on either side.
Sept. 1965	Montezuma Hills nr Decatur	4 young people	Black Bigfoot approached their car and they fled; later police search found nothing.
11 Aug. 1968	Nr Chittyville	Tim Bullock & Barbara Smith	Witnesses in parked car were frightened by 10-ft black Bigfoot which threw earth at them through the window.
9 July 1970	Nr Salt Creek, nr Farmer City	Don Ennis, Beecher Lamb, Larry Faircloth, Bob Hardwick (all 18)	Camping at night, saw Bigfoot with gleaming eyes circling camp fire.
Early Aug. 1970	Kickapoo Creek	Three youths	Saw creature 'as big as a cow' walking on hind legs; partly eaten fish found.
Early Aug. 1970	Nr Bloomington	Vicki Otto	While driving at night saw 'ape running in the ditch'.
11 Aug. 1970	Nr Waynesville	Steve Rich, George Taylor, Monti Shafer	Saw Bigfoot.
16 Aug. 1970	Kickapoo Creek	Don Lindsey & Mike Anderson	Bigfoot 6 ft 5 in tall crossed road in front of their car.
June-July 1972	Peoria	Randy Emert (18) & friends	On 2 occasions saw white, smelly Bigfoot 8-12 ft tall which made a long screeching sound.
25 July 1972	Cairo	Leroy Summers	Saw 10-ft white Bigfoot standing near Ohio River levee.
25 July 1972	East Peoria	2 men	10-ft smelly Bigfoot seen, but 100 searchers found no trace.
LateJuly 1972	Nr Creve Coeur	-	100 searched woods for Bigfoot after 2 sighting reports in 2 days.
6 May 1973	Enfield	Rick Rainbow & three others	Saw 5½ ft, grayish, stooped, ape-like creature near abandoned house; this followed reported sighting of 3 legged creature nearby.
25 June 1973	Big Muddy River nr Murphysboro	Randy Needham & Judy Johnson	While parked at night, saw 7-ft white Bigfoot with muddy body; hair. As it approached shrieking, they drove off; tracks found later.
26 June 1973	Murphysboro	Christian Baril (4), Randy Creath, Cheryl Ray	Christian saw 'big white ghost' in yard; 10 mins later in neighboring yard Randy & Cheryl saw 7-ft dirty white Bigfoot with glowing pink eyes standing.
c.June 1973	Edwardsville	Several	3 reports of a red-eyed, smelly Bigfoot seen in woods. It was said to chase people and one man's chest had been clawed.
4 July 1973	Murphysboro	Carnival workers	Saw Bigfoot watching Shetland ponies.
16 Oct. 1973	Nr. St. Joseph	Bill Duncan, Bob Summers, Daryl Mowry, Craig Flenniken	Stopped car to investigate campfire; saw 5-ft Bigfoot close by.
Jan. 1974	Aurora	Several	'Big Mo, huge and dirty white, seen around, and large footprints found.
July 1974	Murphysboro	-	'The Big Muddy Monster' seen again.
Autumn 1974	Carol Stream	Several	Bigfoot with glowing red eyes and gray-tipped head seen, and footprints found.
July 1975	Murphysboro	-	Return of 'The Big Muddy Monster,' reported in the area in 1973 and 1974.
