Bigfoot conference set in Jeannette

Believers in bigfoot will gather in Jeannette on Sept. 24 for the annual East Coast Bigfoot Conference.

The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society is a sponsor of the event. The organization conducts expeditions throughout the year to investigate reports of bigfoot sightings.

The hairy man-beast provokes controversy among those who believe it exists and those who think that bigfoot is a myth.

The conference is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. at Pitzer's Townhouse Restaurant.

Admission is $5.
